wow some of these look lovely but I have no idea how to pvp. 550 comms doesn’t sooound like a lot, but I have no idea how to PVP. Hell, I still can’t figure out PVP half the time.

i really want some of that gear, but i’m the same way. i don’t even know how Huttball works. actually, about the only thing idoknow is that the girls I want to PVP on, i really shouldn’t because they’re all level 50 and level 50 PVP is a completely different thing than level 1 ~ 49 PVP.

I’m tempted to roll a lowbie of my favorite class on a totally different server and learn to PVP there where no one knows my name and then if I figure out how do it on my regular EH chars. But that’s a lot of effort to get a new alt to 15 just to discover I suck.

I’ve been thinking about doing that, too. Or just hop on one of my non-50 girls and investigate, since I always see screenshots of, like, level 17 characters in PVP, but I really don’t even know where to begin. I never PVP, not on any of my other games, either. And I always hear stories about how super serious business it tends to be and guuuh. I just wanna dick around and have fun and mess up and go through some trial and error.

Yeah, that’s about what I want to do too. But I bet there’ll be yelling and cursing and blame, and the idea puts me off. I had 3 really good group finder PTS matches, one where the other players were super-supportive of helping someone through the first time, and then the most recent one screamed at the two of us who were daring to run a level 50 normal mode flashpoint as “fresh 50s” because “you don’t know what the fuck you’re doing” and yeah, dude, that’s why I’m doing it in normal mode a few times, I want to learn the damn fights, how can I learn them without practicing? Am I supposed to solo practice a champ fight or something? And since PVP seems to have much more of a focus on standards and quality (sorry if I’m wrong or offended any PVPers out there!) I’m worried there’ll be even more harassment if you screw up there. At the same time, how can you learn without going in and trying?

(I swear playing with other people is why I never picked up an MMO before this one :()

I do have a tiny level 12 Marauder~! How do levels work in PVP anyway?
